Why only 3 sessions?

3 sessions is a sufficient amount of time for Mr. Kaplan to work with test-takers to enhance their awareness of what is causing them to feel anxious, and to apply techniques to feel calm, composed, and in control.

The current research indicates that 52-60% of high school students fall into one of these two categories. In fact, 75% of high schoolers describe themselves as “often or always feeling stressed by schoolwork”.

Yes. If your child has ADHD he or she has a greater prevalence for test anxiety. In addition to having a deficit of attention which can make learning difficult, now the child has to cope with the pressure of taking standardized tests for college.
Generally no. Tutors are trained to increase students’ knowledge base in the various areas of study and to arm them with tactical strategies for taking the SAT/ACT.
